The Lost Challenge: Weeks 3 and 4

Since I goofed and no one was taken on Sunday the time frame was off a bit and I had to play into the fourth week in order to complete the challenge. So lets go straight to the returning cast member...drumroll please...Charlie wins again with the most aspiration points, and is still closest to Hurley.

Welcome back AGAIN Hurley!

Woot! More orangeade comin up!

Kate takes to making more Orangeade. Not bad with the flower arrangement badge except she has not gone near the flower bench.

And yeah...another one that leaves me wondering. Well, it was worth a shot.

Ah! It finally worked *doin the happy dance* a worth while one! Lets see if we can keep the luck rolling...

Jack's turn at the juicer...and let me just say that this orangeade stuff has been all but a waste of time!! Cosmetology? Seriously Jack? For that he got the boot juice...muhahaha!

*snicker snicker* Sorry Jack, I couldn't resist with all these boots laying around.

What I hadn't realized was exactly how low Kate's aspiration bar was.

So while Sun wasn't looking, or so she thought, Kate made her move on Charlie...her excuse was that Jack was working.

But Sun wasn't about to let Kate get away with stealing her man.

It was a knock down drag out cat fight.

Unfortunately for Sun, Kate's job required body skills, so Sun got her butt kicked.

Tuesday morning Hurley got taken by the others...yet again. I got tired of taking shots of him coming and going, so here he is contributing to the island. Thanks anyway Hurley.

And if by a stroke of fate, Charlie is struck by lightining the next day while tending the garden. Sorry Charlie...(no worries, he survived).

Despite the turmoil on the island in the early part of this week, both Charlie and Kate bring home promotions. And as a side note, you may notice the tiki style shack the losties managed to build in the pick behind Charlie.

But my dear Sun's luck continues to get worse as she brings home a demotion.

At six Friday morning, poor Sun had the lowest aspiration and was taken by the others...sorry Charlie...too little too late.

With Sun gone, Kate takes over the gardening...and poof she is a plant sim!? I have worked the entire three weeks with Sun trying to turn her to a plant and almost instantly, Kate becomes one!

So I send her straight to the pool in an attempt to max her body skill...a lofty goal, but I thought I would give it a shot (um, it didn't happen in time tho).

Well, this candle that was struck by lightining and started on fire pushed him over the edge and Sunday, dear sweet Jack was picked up by the others for having the lowest aspiration points.

And when Monday rolls around, Charlie is still the highest on the aspiration ladder, so his good buddy Hurley is rescued for the fifty millionth time. Tho this time I got him a job (wahoo!).

Earlier that morning the lot got a visitor...Sun, back so soon girl?

Well, Hurley felt terrible about what has happened with Kate and Charlie, and then with her job...one thing led to another....

...and Sun had found herself a new man! Unfortunately the date and budding romance with sun did not give Hurley enough aspiration to save him from elimination the very next day...Monday morning Hurley made yet another quick exit. Geez I am begining to sound like a broken record!

And after an uneventful few days, it is down to Kate and Charlie...our boy Charlie takes it home as Kate is sent packing with the others.

Congrats Charlie!

You are the sole survivor (err...thats another show). Either way, you are our winner!

Week Two / Score

The Lost Challenge: Week Two

Week two for our survivors starts with a rescue. Charlie has the most aspiration points, and he is closest with Hurley (makes sense as he is the last to leave, but is also kinda cute as they pal around on the show too).

I get him right down to business fishing, though I really need him to find a job.

Luckily, on Tues of week two Sun found a job in Education.

Unluckily, Hurley did not have the oportunity to find his job as he was taken again by the others (he did not have much of a chance to gain asp points in his one day back on the island).

And for the sake of aspiration boosts, Charlie and Sun hooked up.

They were actually a cute couple...for a time they were inseperable. Following eachother around the island and smooching every now and then. When he fished, she fished and when she gardened, he gardened.

And with the harvesting of fruits and veggies came the first juices!

And of course I was looking forward to the Orangeade that gives badge points...yeah...what am I gonna do with points in robotics??

Jack also finally finds his job. This means that all the losties (with the exception of those taken by the others) have found their jobs.

Along with being employed Jack is keeping the survivors in fish. The steady cash flow also alows for them to start "finding" more of the items.

Most notable are the flower making and toy making benches, tho none of them can spend much time on them as they are rather stressful on their comfort level (something that is a hot comodity on the island).

And a sweet pool table.

Thursday, Locke decides to start a fire in the make shift kitchen.

Such a surprise then that Locke is the one nabbed by the others on Friday morning as he took a huge aspiration hit from the fire.

Kate got herself a couple of promotions over the course of the week.

As did Charlie, though I don't think he is too comfortable in the suit and tie.

I literally just realized that I made a bit of a boo boo this week by forgetting to have the third person taken by the others on Sunday Morning...either way, on with the challenge!

The Lost Challenge: Week One

First off, here is a pic of the island prior to starting the challenge.

Everything seen here was created prior to reducing the funds to 1500 Simoleans. Unremarkable, but it features a large beach area and a small "swimming hole".

The first order of business was to catch some food (and simoleans). I never realized exactly how pofitable fishing could be until now!

Then the job hunt began. The only one to find a job on Day 1 was Charlie.

Sun immediately took on the role of mother hen, planting the garden and making sure her fellow survivors were well fed.

Obviously the stress of island life and being the only paycheck was starting to get to poor Charlie.

But he wasn't alone...after purchasing a few things I THOUGHT were nececities there was no money left for a bed...let alone several beds. So our survivors slept on the beach. But this was not workin for me...it caused their needs to plumment and they would refuse to do ANYTHING. So beds became the number one priority on my mental checklist.

Day Two, Tuesday, 6 am...our first survivor to be taken by the others was Sawyer...*waving goodbye*. Ah Sawyer, we hardly knew ya!

Luckily the survivors caught several fish their first day on the island and I was able to affors a couple of beds, but it was still a struggle to get their needs high enough to convince them to look for jobs.

Thank goodness for Sayid. He managed to be in a decent enough mood and actually found his job!

The bookcase was good for filling their fun and getting some skills and asp points for my knowledge sims, tho I probably did not have to buy it in the first couple of days.

The first fire happens on night two. Almost all of the losties take an aspiration hit.

Yet only Sun and Sayid break down.

Where as Sun bounces back quickly after a little lovin from Charlie, Sayid on the other hand...

...continues to have issues. And becomes our second lostie taken by the dreaded others.

I am happy to announce that both Kate and Locke found their jobs as Adventurers...especially as one of my only two working losties was already taken by the others.

The Lost Challenge: Introductions

Here is my attempt of The Lost Challenge created by Rachel. I have been waiting a while to play this challenge as I am knee deep in my prosperity challenge Rose Island, and I find it hard to tear myself away from them if only for a few sim weeks. But, if anything was going to do it, it was this challenge. I am an avid viewer of the show Lost, so I have a great connection with the characters. For those who don't here is a quick intro for each of the losties and their first week adventures. True to the show outfits for my losties created by paperbackwriter and available at Mod The Sims 2.
